the mellow tunes of Elvis

floated gently across with the wind

From behind an open blue window

almost as if on cue

wafted in the evergreen Celine Dion

'My heart will go on'

Before her voice could fade, strummed a guitar

'I could stay awake just to hear you breathing'

Unseen, unknown yet spoke they, the language

of soulful melodies, blessed by an all seeing God

Exulting in the euphoria of that night,

when two lonely hearts, perfect strangers

separated by walls, were united by their passion

they surrender themselves to love, once again.
