Do we WRITE poetry?

To me

Poetry is a free flowing thought

set off by a stray word, a glorious sight

a smile, a frown, or a sigh.

Poetry is a dew drop perched on a tiny twig 

glimmering on a cold winter morning

Poetry sprouts from a seed buried 

in every heart, yet not nurtured

A four-cornered mirror-poetry reflects 

the profound depths of a soulful heart

Poetry is the lotus that blooms 

out of the quagmire called 'world'

Poetry is the proclivity of 

being humane in words.
