Book Of Life-Contradictions And Paradoxes

Amidst all the contradictions and paradoxes 
life gifts us the book of life
we care not to read

dreams and visions abound the pages
if only you care to see
through the veils that cloud your eyes

sonorous tunes and melodies echo the streams 
if only you care to hear
over the cacophony of your whirring machines

journeys to the distant shores await you
if only you care to unshackle your feet, 
from the drudgery of your everyday routine

sit still, for once, 
without moving your arms
without prejudices and judgments
lean within

unravel the mystery of light
find the purpose of life, yet unrevealed 
bless daylight, bless a dark night
grieve not, for life and death are but one.
