Sigh - NaPoWriMo

On days and nights
when I try
to write a sparkling verse, a zany tale
but miserably I struggle, I fail
I sigh
As I read another rejection mail
Not everything is hearty and hale.
I shed tears, I cry.
I struggle, I squirm
Have my words lost the charm?
I worry, I won't lie.
I doubt my own skills
As I gulp the bitter pills.
The others are prancing, sprinting by
How to keep pace, I am in despair
Is the game over for me? - I wonder.
Has it deserted me, my keen eye?
My fingers itch, ready to punch the key
But the blank screen taunts, mocks me 
I sigh, I cry, I won't deny.
