JUNE
In continuation with the April and May poems.....
May didn't spare us. But
May didn't spare us. But
June,
You know, you're June.
You know, you're June.
You're not November,
And it's not winter. Then
And it's not winter. Then
Why do you seem so fogged out,
hazy and out of tune?
You strike a sudden coup,
put me in a bind.
Aargh! why be so hot,
muggy and unkind?
You're not
price of petrol,
Then why throw your
'rising a rupee everyday,
falling a dime rarely' tantrum
to scald the land.
to scald the land.
Chillax dude, and
Tell him to also calm down,
your friend-the mighty sun.
It's my birthday month,
be merciful, for God's sake!
Birthdays are so exciting,
so let me go out,
party with my pals and have fun.
